No Compromise: The HP Envy 13 Notebook
Venerable technology company HP may have started in a Palo Alto garage, but judging by HP’s latest high-end laptop, aptly named the “Envy 13,” the company is taking industrial design to a new level. By any standard, the ultra-slim HP Envy 13 (at less than an inch thin) is a showcase of modern, minimalist design and uncompromising high-tech ultra-mobility. If the phrase “you can’t be too rich or too thin” can be applied to notebook computers, then the feature-rich, super-slim HP Envy 13 definitely lives up to its name. Despite its wafer-thin and elegant design, the HP Envy 13 offers the power and performance typically associated with larger notebooks, along with some unique features that even the Man at His Best hasn’t seen before.
But the HP Envy 13 laptop is more than a tool—it is also a pleasure. The casing of the computer itself seems not so much manufactured as crafted, seemingly sculpted out of carbon fiber, with crisp edges and a low, warm sheen.
“What you carry, from briefcase to wallet to computer, says a lot about your style,” said Tracey Trachta, Director of HP’s Worldwide Personal Systems Group Marketing. “The Envy 13 is the ultimate blend of form and function. It’s precision-crafted, razor-thin, long-lasting, and powerful—the perfect combination for work and play—and it will get you noticed.”
